Steve McIntyre is thrown out by the climate priests

Steve McIntyre is kicked out of a scientific event at the behest of climate 'scientists'.

Steve says -
I don’t entirely understand why any dendro(chronologist) would feel so threatened by discussing things like the connection of linear mixed effects models to the construction of tree ring chronologies that they would refuse to participate in such a session, but hey – it’s climate science. They’d rather avoid criticism than confront it.

That doesn't sound like science -more like the inner chamber of priests of the climate order.

But hey, it's a post-modern world -
Shit is art
Religion is science
Socialism is compassion
Environmentalists are saints
and worldwide impoverishment to be imposed under the aegis of U.N. climate conventions is salvation for the mankind.

Does somebody have any oil money lying around?

We skeptics are supposed to be lavishly funded.Must be true since the great Jeffrey Sachs says so.
But I haven't seen a penny!

Exxon Mobil didn't give me a thing, not even a damn.
Neither did BP.
Even the local gas station('petrol pump' in India) flatly refuses free gas.

I feel cheated!

So, Steve, Anthony, Richard and other climate scoundrels- if you have not yet spent all your oil money on junkets to Copenhagen, Bali, Marrakesh, Kyoto, Bali again, Rio, Poznań, Bonn, The Hague, Bangkok,New DelhiBarcelona, Vienna, Buenos Aires, Milan,-could you share some of the ill-gotten loot with me?

P.S. - can we thieves mine Indian Oil too? Maybe Pachauri can help.

Skeptics are saving millions of lives

Delhi Commonwealth Games, we are told, are to be 'greenest' sporting event ever-
Indian authorities organizing the 12-day meet have just announced a series of measures to offset the carbon footprint that the event will generate.

Delhi state Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, while unveiling an 'ecological code' for the Games, said numerous initiatives like plantation of saplings, waste management and measures to ensure energy efficiency are being taken by her government to mitigate the carbon footprint of the event.

The 'Delhi Ecological Code' targets to make the event the first carbon consumption neutral games, by taking various environment friendly measures like reducing energy, to monitor and minimize the polluting impact of the sporting event by ensuring a reduction in carbon emissions and focusing on clean fuel, waste management and water conservation.

According to the Chairman of the Organizing Committee Suresh Kalmadi the Delhi games will be the "first carbon consumption neutral games" in the history of sporting events.

Nearly 150,000 tons of carbon foot-print is expected to be generated during the October 3-14 meet which will be attended by athletes from the erstwhile British ruled nations.

What a farce! This reminds me of a fat slob who chomps away at an extra large pack of fries after he has had a couple of shakes and a few burgers - and he thinks he can melt it all away by stretching a leg or two the next morning!

If the planet is so in peril from all the eveeeel CO2(which is still the official Indian position) -then why organize games at all? It makes no sense. Why add more poison rather than reducing it -and feel good by saying that we aren't adding as much as others? It's absolutely ridiculous.

But who said faith is rational? Devotees of the Global Warming religion by their daily actions prove that it is a faith -and not science as they claim.

Communism was supposed to be scientific too.And how many tens of millions perished in that 'scientific' experiment? It is only a rugged band of much-maligned skeptics who are keeping such experiments from repeating, this time in the name of saving the planet.

Climategate Timeline -what happened when

Mohib Ebrahim has now published an updated edition of his now famous Climategate Timeline, "providing graphs, e-mails, history, and analysis of events".

Jo Nova-

This is One Spectacular Poster of ClimateGate Covering 3 Decades

You have to see this up close to believe it. Look up close and admire the detail while you despair at how long science has been going off the rails. To better appreciate the past and what was exposed by the CRU emails, the Timeline chart consolidates and chronologically organizes the information uncovered and published about the CRU emails by many researchers along with some related contextual events. That the chart exists at all is yet another example of how skilled experts are flocking in to the skeptics’ position and dedicating hours of time pro bono because they are passionately motivated to fight against those who try to deceive us.
It is available for download from Jo Nova's site. Jo is, as you may be aware, herself justly famous for her Skeptics Handbook.

Andrew Bolt -Ten signs that the warming scare is collapsing

John Christy witnessed UN scientists attempting to distort the science

Via Climate Depot-
Alabama State Climatologist Dr. John Christy of the University of Alabama in Huntsville, served as a UN IPCC lead author in 2001 for the 3rd assessment report and detailed how he personally witnessed UN scientists attempting to distort the science for political purposes.

"I was at the table with three Europeans, and we were having lunch. And they were talking about their role as lead authors. And they were talking about how they were trying to make the report so dramatic that the United States would just have to sign that Kyoto Protocol," Christy told CNN on May 2, 2007. - (For more on UN scientists turning on the UN years ago, see Climate Depot's full report here. )

Christy has since proposed major reforms and changes to the way the UN IPCC report is produced. Christy has rejected the UN approach that produces "a document designed for uniformity and consensus." Christy presented his views at a UN meeting in 2009. The IPCC needs "an alternative view section written by well-credentialed climate scientists is needed," Christy said. "If not, why not? What is there to fear? In a scientific area as uncertain as climate, the opinions of all are required," he added.

'The reception to my comments was especially cold'

And-

Christy: “When a subject is excruciatingly complicated, like climate, we see that opinion, overstatement, and appeal-to-authority tend to reign as those of a like-mind essentially take control in their self-constructed echo-chamber. The world needs to see all sides of the evidence. We in the climate business need to understand humility, not pride, when looking at a million degrees-of-freedom problem. It's just fine to say, 'We don't know,' when that is the truth of the matter.”

Christopher Monckton’s debates Australian IPCC reviewer Ben McNeil

Video-Christopher Moncktons debates Australian IPCC reviewer Ben McNeil on Sunrise

Andrew Bolt had this to say about the debate-
Christopher Monckton’s debate this morning with Australian IPCC reviewer Ben McNeil on Sunrise, a minor temple of the warming faith, did not go well - for the alarmists. My goodness, but McNeil did seem awfully green (again) for an academic who demands such drastic changes to the way we live.

Even David Koch, long a fierce preacher of the warming faith, seemed no longer so sure of his old gospel.

IPCC lead author -"climate scientists are losing the fight with the sceptics"

Professor Andy Pitman, a lead author on the IPCC's 2001 and 2007 reports speaks to Eleanor Hall in a rare interview.

Rare because this is one of those few cases in which an alarmist has not been thrown softball after softball.

A couple of excerpts-
ELEANOR HALL: Well, the head of the IPCC Rajendra Pachauri, is now being seen to benefit from that false Himalayan glacier claim with a funding grant to his institute. That just plays right into the argument of the sceptics, doesn't it, that climate scientists are making all of this up in order to get funding for their research?

ANDY PITMAN: I would have to admit that it looks extremely bad.

And -

ANDY PITMAN: Oh, my personal view is that climate scientists are losing the fight with the sceptics. That the sceptics are so well funded, so well organised, have nothing else to do. They kind of don't have day jobs. They can put all of their efforts into misinforming and miscommunicating climate science to the general public whereas the climate scientists have day jobs and this actually isn't one of them.

I really love his description that the skeptics are rich idlers who have nothing to do.Certainly no day jobs -we don't need any, we are so well-funded.Sounds like a nice chap!

Lord Monckton: Rajendra Pachauri is going to jail for fraud

"I'm now going to turn that letter over to the Indian Police and I'm going to say that Rajendra Pachauri is a fraudster on one of the biggest scales I've ever seen in the world."

He also said -"He is going to jail for fraud. You heard it here first."

Video -Lord Monckton on ForaTV

The video is from COP15, before the Pachaurigate revelations in the Daily Telegraph.

New comments added-
If Lord Monckton comes to India to file a case of fraud against Pachauri, that would make compelling drama.
But will the Indian government allow it? Pachauri is the cherry on the cream of the Indian elite and the Indian state is a plaything of this elite.
Is Lord Monckton being optimistic? He doesn't know Indian police. It is as independent of its political masters as a shoe on the foot of its owner.
Let's see....

Update -
Was going to provide a partial transcript but realized that it would take much more time than I'm currently able to put in. My apologies. Just watch the video -it's riveting stuff.

Update 2 - post expanded with some new comments
