Ah! The genius of Obama

is so resplendent that-

The government racked up $5.3 trillion in new fiscal obligations last year alone -- bringing the current unfunded tab for future expenses on things like Medicare, Social Security and military medical and retirement programs to a whopping $61.6 trillion, or $534,000 per American household.

Then there's today's bills: We're borrowing $125 billion a month that we have no hope of ever paying back on our current course.


The growth in GDP declined to a measly 1.8 percent in the first quarter of 2011 as consumers hung desperately onto their wallets. Job growth has completely collapsed. Fully 60 percent of the electorate thinks the country is on the wrong track. No wonder the daily economic briefing, once on a par with the intelligence briefing, has vanished from President Obama's schedule.


Heckuva job, guys.


And now Obama says he's not worried about a double-dip recession. Easy for him to say: For Americans not feeding at the government trough, the first recession never ended.

For such academics, we the commoners are blocks to build the edifices of their (disastrous) social and economic theories and when the whole thingamajig collapses, as it always does, it ruffles not a hair of the professors' heads. Reality is too alien to those ensconced in the bubble of power. This is even more true of those that have entered that bubble from an even greater bubble -the hermetically sealed,close minded ivory towers of the academia.

In the faculty lounge inhabited by the president and his credentialed playmates, the economy is a controlled experiment, with manufacturers and consumers mere lab rats who cheerfully respond to the prodding of their ivory-tower betters, no matter how many taxes and regulations are piled onto their backs.

In perhaps his touchiest press conference yet, President Obama reiterated his opposition to the extension of current tax rates on top-earners, while defending a deal he brokered with Republicans that would do just that. 

A prickly Obama, at times raising his voice, called Senate Republicans “hostage-takers” and “bomb-throwers” for opposing his agenda, and said critics on the Left who portray him as weak on core issues are “sanctimonious.”

“Hostage-takers” and “bomb-throwers” ??!  Now, that is civility that Obama once pretended to strive for.

Compare his testiness to the soberness with George W.Bush faced an invariably hostile press. No wonder he is more popular now than the thorn-man that followed him.

Bush’s job approval now higher than Obama’s

Take that, you lefty boy! And his support chorus in the media and the pundit class!

Notice President George W. Bush’s approval is at 47 percent.
Meanwhile, Gallup also finds President Obama’s current approval is… 45 percent.

For 8 years and more they demonized Bush. And for the last 3 years or so they have assiduously covered Obama's dirty ass (Rev.Wright, Bill Ayers, Rashid Kahlidi, Van Jones ..... a long list). The public after suffering under the idiotship of the "brightest" president ever(almost God) has been getting wiser. The American public at least. Many foreigners still think he is great. Maybe a way could be devised so that Obama can become the president of the world while America gets a replacement who can at least count the number of states in the Union (no, they are not 57 or 58).

The Imam claims that if we don’t build the Islamic victory community center, “anger will explode in the Muslim world.” How dare the Imam explicitly state that Muslims will behave violently for political ends!? That sounds like bigotry to me! Real Muslims would not “explode in anger”, so the Imam is just distorting Islam. He may even be turning against Muslims if he’s willing to make those terrible inferences about the religion of peace. The President warned us about people like him.

I’m so glad we have a scholarly president who can explain to us what is going on in the minds of people who call themselves Muslim. That helps me understand group behavior.

This is too freakin' crazy! If somebody had put this in a film script it would rejected out of hand as too incredible, even for Hollyywood.

Didn't all those legions of highly educated,eminent journalists and commentators tell us that Obama was the smartest president -ever? Didn't Barkha Dutt shed tears of joy when he was elected, so relieved was she to see the evil cowboy regime come to an end?


It is so starkly obvious what a stupid lot this is -the army of sycophantic pundits and their clueless messiah.

And as for NASA, space exploration doesn't seem to interest it as much anymore.Unless Obama can lay out the target of putting a Muslim on moon.

Obama could be 21st century's Chamberlain

I'm currently re-reading my old, yellowed copy of William L. Shirer's 'The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich'. The account of repeated appeasement of Hitler by the the British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain strikes a tragic, 'if only' chord. It makes one realize- what a huge impact on history a wrong man at a wrong time can have.

The English government had many occasions to put a stop to the Nazi war machine -at the time of the occupation of the Rhineland, the Anschluss(forced unification of Germany and Austria), before and after the German invasion of Czechoslovakia.It all looks so tragic now.How many tens of millions of live could have been spared by British resolve.The British public had the backbone(as demonstrated later during the world war)that it's leaders didn't.

There is an ominous contemporary flavor to this look back at past mistakes.Obama is in an appeasement mode worthy of Chamberlain.What the clueless British Prime Minister was to Hitler, Obama is to Iran. He has as much interest in stopping the mad mullahs from getting their nuclear weapon as Chamberlain had in confronting Hitler.

Would a future generation -perhaps ours itself- look back at the past and sadly wonder -if only the clueless American President had more backbone and conviction, he could have stopped that atomic explosion in....Tel Aviv? New York?  and saved so many countless lives?

I suspect it's a matter of time - Obama is an ideal candidate to be 21st century's Chamberlain.

I've just read the transcript of the president's remarks about Haiti, the ones he made on January 15. He noted that, in addition to assistance from the United States, significant aid had also come from "Brazil, Mexico, Canada, France, Colombia, and the Dominican Republic, among others." Am I missing another country that truly weighed in with truly consequential assistance? Ah, yes. There it is. Right there "among others." Yes, the country to which I refer is "among others," that one.
The fact is that, next to our country, Israel sent the largest contingent of trained rescue workers, doctors, and other medical personnel. The Israeli field hospital was the only one on the ground that could perform real surgery, which it did literally hundreds of times, while delivering--as of last week--at least 16 babies, including one premature infant and three caesarians. The first 250-odd Israelis were real professionals, and they were supplemented by others, also professionals. And to these can be added the many organized Jews from the Diaspora who, in solidarity with Israel, also went on a work pilgrimage, an aliyah, in solidarity with Haiti.

So didn't Obama notice? For God's sake, everybody noticed the deep Israeli involvement. I understand that Obama doesn't like Middle East narratives that do not contain "one side and the other side" equal valence. But he couldn't have that here. The Arabs don't care a fig, not for their impoverished and backward own, and certainly not for strangers. That's why their presence in Haiti amounted to a couple of bucks from Saudi Arabia and maybe from some other sheikhs.

An afterthought: Who would want Arab participation in the rescue effort? This was serious work and dangerous work. Amateurs weren't welcome.

Yes, I think that the labors of the Israelis were edited out of Obama's speech, either by his speechwriters (who have made dissing Israel their forté) or by his own oh-so-delicate but dishonest censoring mechanism.

The scary thing is that many of us believe the President hardly knows much of anything, certainly not economics, and is surrounded by an increasingly paranoid and defensive group of advisers. It’s shades of Nixon, but worse. Tricky Dick, at least, knew what he was doing and could accomplish things. Obama is the biggest windbag to ever ascend to the presidency. He has no idea what he is doing and now things are getting rough. Frankly, I’m worried for our country because this man doesn’t really understand what the public is telling him. He just thinks we’re “angry.” He’s wrong – we’re furious and we’re furious because he blames everyone but himself and seems psychologically incapable of taking responsibility.

Problem is, we’ve been there, done that, a thousand times. The alternative to capitalism is socialism and it has never worked. Not once, in all its myriad permutations. In fact, it most often hurts those it was intended to help, bankrupting the society and leaving the lower classes destitute. The Soviet Union collapsed. China was deeply impoverished until it turned essentially capitalistic . Everybody knows that now, and has for years, except maybe our president. He’s after the banks and is so clueless he thinks that will impress us. Of course, it won’t. Nobody believes anything he says anymore. But he is the President and he can take executive actions. And with those actions, like a wounded animal, he may pull all of us down with him. I am deeply afraid of that because Barack Obama has never had to deal with any personal adversity in his adult life. He has lived a completely privileged existence. This is a first for him. There’s no telling how he will behave. Watch out, buckle up and hold on to your seats.

Obama is a menace to humanity

What if this guy(I mean the terrorist mentioned below,not Obama the pal of Bill Ayers the domestic terrorist) goes back to his terrorist ways-a likely scenario- and kills some people? Would anybody hold Obama responsible?

The Justice Department has announced the release from Gitmo of a terrorist who conspired to bomb Los Angeles International Airport in the 2000 Millennium plot.  Hassan Zumiri, who was part of an al-Qaeda affiliated terror cell in Montreal, has been repatriated to his native Algeria — a country so rife with terrorists that it was recently placed on the list of 14 countries whose travelers warrant enhanced screening at airports.  Worse, the Justice Department won't say whether the terrorist, Hassan Zumiri, and another Gitmo detainee who was also sent to Algeria will be in custody there.  They may be free and clear.

Obama has been a prime malefactor in fanning confusion about the enemy and the means we will use to defend ourselves. He ran for president on pulling the plug on Iraq, although that was a central battlefield in the war against the same Islamic fundamentalists. Once in office, he not only declared war on the CIA by re-investigating its operatives and disclosing their methods, but he proposed closing Guantanamo and bringing detainees to the U.S. for trial and possible incarceration. In his grand address on health care, he tells the country it’s a shame we have to spend money fighting in Afghanistan. He has excised “war on terror” and “Islamic fundamentalist” from our official lexicon. And he has declared we won’t be using enhanced interrogation techniques to extract any useful information from those who would carry out dozens of Fort Hoods.

Somebody charge him for being an idiot while president.
